In-Center Hemodialysis

Patients have many dialysis treatment options, one of which is in-center hemodialysis. With this treatment, you schedule three four-hour treatments per week at our dialysis center that’s fully staffed by a personalized care team. This is typically the treatment of choice because treatment is administered by trained kidney care professionals, patients enjoy social interactions with fellow dialysis patients and dialysis is only three times a week, leaving four free days.

Peritoneal Dialysis

Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) is a needle-free dialysis treatment option that best replicates your natural kidney function. PD offers more flexibility by allowing patients to dialyze from the comfort of their own home, at work, even on vacation. Peritoneal dialysis is performed daily via a small flexible catheter placed in either the abdomen or peritoneal by a surgeon.

Home Hemodialysis

For those who qualify, home hemodialysis (HHD) is a lot like in-center hemodialysis, but you perform your treatments at home with the help of a care partner, or solo per doctor’s order. The HHD machine is a small, user-friendly machine that cleans toxins from your blood. There are many potential benefits to dialyzing with HHD, such as not having to leave your home for treatment, greater ability to travel and shorter recovery time between treatments.
